Major renovations to the structure including a 4-story tower addition equipped with helicopter pad for “Flight for Life”.
Ingenuity in Action
Being an occupied facility, during preconstruction the team worked closely with the architect and the engineers to provide constructability reviews and, in cases, alternate ways of detailing the work to minimize interference. Keeping the building users updated on the construction schedule and coordinating communication was critical to this project. H.W. Houston Construction made specific efforts to meet with staff to ensure their understanding of the phases.
